What data will Von have access to?
With Von for Slack, Von can search public channels and any channel it has been added to. With Slack account, Von can search what you can see, including private channels and DMs. Von respects your organization's Slack permissions and retention policies at all times.
How will my data be used?
Von uses your Slack data to provide AI-grounded responses about deals, accounts, and pipeline. Your data is never used to train third-party LLM models. All processing happens under enterprise zero-data-retention agreements with our LLM providers.
Do I need both connections?
Start with Von for Slack. It puts @Von in your workspace and lets Von use your Slack channels as context wherever you ask. Add Slack account when you want Von to post under your own name, or to use your private channels and DMs as context. Full details in the Slack guide.
How much does the Slack integration cost?
The Slack integration is included with every Von plan at no additional cost. You'll need an active Von subscription to use the Slack integration.
Can I delete my conversations and data?
Yes. You can revoke Von's access at any time from your Slack connected apps page or from Von's settings. Once disconnected, Von stops accessing your Slack data immediately.
What if my workspace requires admin approval?
If your workspace has an app approval workflow, your Slack admin will receive a request to review Von when you click "Add to Slack." Once approved, return to the install flow to complete. If your workspace doesn't allow user-initiated installs, share the install link with your admin so they can install on your behalf. Installing Von for Slack and authorizing a Slack account are separate permission requests, so your Slack admin may be asked to approve twice.
What are the known limitations?
Von's AI responses may occasionally contain inaccuracies — always verify information critical to decision-making. Bulk Slack history search is currently subject to Slack's rate limits for non-Marketplace apps; Von is actively pursuing Slack Marketplace listing to unlock full performance.
